CANCELLATIONS
All orders are final at the time of purchase. We do not accept cancellation requests once an order has been placed. You may contact us at hello@thebooksbarn.com to request a review. At our discretion, we may direct you to initiate a return or refund in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy above.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
Initiating a Return
All returns must be initiated by contacting us before sending any item back. Returns submitted without prior authorization will not be accepted. To request a return, email us at hello@thebooksbarn.com with your order number and reason for return.
Return Window
Return requests must be communicated within 1 days of receiving your order. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for a return or refund.
Damaged Items
Damaged items are non-returnable and non-refundable. If your order arrives damaged, please email hello@thebooksbarn.com within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage taken immediately upon opening the package. Photos must clearly show the item and its condition as received. Claims submitted without photographic evidence will not be processed.
Inspection Requirement
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to verify it is in the same condition as originally shipped — unused, undamaged, and with all original packaging and components included. Items that do not meet this condition will not qualify for a refund and may be returned to you at our expense.
Return Shipping
We will cover the cost of return shipping for all approved returns. Instructions for the return label will be provided once your request is authorized.
Refund Processing
If the item passes inspection, your refund will be processed within 5 business days to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.
